For the fifth straight year, the men and women of WWE and TNA will battle it out to be named the hottest wrestler on TV. Starting September 30th, twenty-four Superstars and Divas/Knockouts chosen by you will be voted on in a series of 1-on-1 matches, with the loser being eliminated from the tournament. The last Superstar and Diva/Knockout standing will be named your 2014 Babe of the Year!

To go the extra mile and help with bracket creation, simply PM me a list of your top 10 to 15 superstars and 10 to 15 divas in order from best to worst out of the following eligible contestants:

Anybody! The walls have been broken down this year. Gone are the days of disqualifications for leaving WWE or TNA. This year, any wrestler, from any company, still in active competition is eligible to enter the 2014 BotY tournament. ROH, CHIKARA, OVW, Shimmer, anywhere! The catch, to keep this a WWE/TNA centric tournament, only 5 of your top 15 picks may be from independent promotions. Otherwise, go crazy! Of course this is completely optional.

Last day to get nominations in! There have been a total of 34 girls and 35 guys nominated so far. There are quite a few favorites that are just on the verge of getting a spot in the top 24.

Also, there is a new default BotY skin for the board to help bring the festivities to life.

Brackets for both tournaments will be revealed on Monday. There were 74 total nominations, but only the top 24 men and the top 24 women made the cut. Voting starts 2 weeks from Monday.

Round 1 of the 2014 Babe of the Year tournament is officially underway! Sign up to vote. New matches will be posted every Monday-Friday, and voting will lock at midnight Pacific time. In the event of a tie, write in votes will be available to all members (even those that have already voted) and guests. The first superstar/diva to 3 write in votes will move on to the next round.

At the end of week 2, the 2013 Babe of the Year, Cameron Lynn, has officially been dethroned. Meaning we are now guaranteed a brand new Babe of the Year for 2014. The male BOTY, Dolph Ziggler, continues to defend his throne. While former BOTY's Maryse, Brie Bella, The Miz and Cody Rhodes also remain in the tournament in an attempt to reclaim the title.

That's the end of week 3. The quarter-finals will be fully decided on Monday and finished on Friday, leading us into our final week! In just 3 days we will crown our 2014 Babe of the Year! The final four for each tournament has been decided.


For the Women...

Kaitlyn)) The quirky two-toned diva has made it the furthest she ever has in the BotY tournament, but has a tough road ahead as she goes up against the ever popular Summer Rae, and two BotY favorites.

Summer Rae)) Summer has cha-cha'd her way into the final four and looks to tango with the top prize at the end of the week. These dance references doing anything for ya?

Maryse)) The 2-time Babe of the Year returned with a vengeance this year, and is looking to reclaim her crown that was stolen from her just days before reaching the end, due to her unceremonious release from WWE in 2011.

Velvet Sky)) The little knockout that could, Velvet Sky has made it to the final week every year since the beginning of BotY, but she's never managed to reach the top. Could this finally be her year?

For the men...

Dolph Ziggler)) The current reigning, and first of 3 former male Babes of the Year in the final four. Dolph is looking to hold onto his crown for the first back to back reign since Maryse in 2010-2011.

Brad Maddox)) Making his BotY debut this year, Brad Maddox has been the dark horse in the men's tournament, but faces a tough road ahead, as all 3 of his opponents are former BotY's.

Cody Rhodes)) The very first Male Babe of the Year, Cody Rhodes is looking to win back the crown after going through some rough mask and mustache phases.

The Miz)) 2012's BotY is looking to grab title number 2 to match records with his bride to be. Will the Awesome One make it to the end and reclaim the crown?
