Fireball UFOs Over Ireland: Clever Hoax Or Unexplained Objects?

If you happened to videotape several minutes of slow-moving, brightly lit groups of circular objects in the sky, would you post your video online right away or wait a few months to do it?

A YouTube user, named Naktis Ireland, chose the latter option, after recording odd lights over Cork, Ireland, back in December. Ireland uploaded the video on March 16, and it's only now starting to get some attention, according to Open Minds.

In the video, seen below, the bright objects keep materializing in the sky at the right, and move in formation to the left at approximately the same distance between each other, until they slowly seem to fall behind a group of trees, before another group of them appear out of thin air and do the same thing.

Many questions about the legitimacy of these UFOs are being raised by online commenters and a handful of photographic and special effects experts, who speculate on whether these are flares, balloons, lanterns or simply, unexplained.

So, what do you believe? I don't know about this particular video, but living out in the Mojave Desert, so close to Edwards Air Force Base and not far from Area 51, I've seen some shit. Granted that was probably just government craziness we aren't supposed to know about, but still. The universe is way too big, and I don't believe that ancient novel one bit, to think there is any possibility we're alone. Maybe there's no little green men, or giant Starship Trooper bugs, but there is definitely something else out there. And if it's anything like Star Wars, I want in.

Like you, I don't know about that particular sighting. But in general I definately believe other intelligent life exists. The only question to me is whether they have visited earth or not. From what I understand, most experts in the field also think the numbers game is too great for there not to be other sentient beings somewhere as well.

I completely think aliens are real! I'm always so jealous when I see videos like that because I think why couldn't that have been me!!? haha I can stay up for days watching shows about aliens. I want to see a UFO so bad!

There's little chance that there isn't life out there somewhere. I don't really buy the whole UFO/scouting missions/whatever people think is going on. It would be impressive, though. Since for it to be even remotely realistic they would have had to find a way to produce and store huge quantities of antimatter. Still, the vehicle would have to be large enough and self-sustaining as it's not like they're getting here in one lifetime, even giving leeway to a longer life span.

Anyway, they're constantly finding Earth-like exoplanets. Given the diversity of life on Earth and requirements to sustain it, it's not even like the only candidates for life have to be Earth-like.
